So this Rodger guy of S.B. shooting spree fame, he complains about life being "unfair." He drives a BMW and has plenty of money, not a care in the world, and yet he's bellyaching about life being "unfair."
{snort} Don't make me laugh, fella: if you want to experience the unfairness of life, try living with a bizarre illness from the age of 25 on (an illness moreover that has no medical justification) and then getting multiple cancer almost 34 years later on top of it. The person I'm alluding to was also rejected by peers (not just the opposite sex) most of their first 18 years of life, plus at age 6 endured the divorce of their parents.
And yet, it would have NEVER crossed that person's mind to harm, much less kill, anybody. Instead, this person channeled all the frustration, anger and hurt into being creative and becoming educated.
But then, poverty teaches you a lot, and this person experienced that all thru life.
One of the things that has often struck me about Bolshevik "art" is how often there's a throng of utterly uniform humans, devoid of personality or individuality. Asphyxiating! And this was supposed to "inspire" the masses???
So, I encountered this fascinating image in a newsreel (former Hitler Youth in E. Germany, at the end of WW2, dragging a swastika off to be burned). I then entered that into Google image search to find out more about the actual scene (i.e. was this happening just before the Russians entered the city? Or was it when they had already arrived and taken over?). Which garnered me this:
"Sons of Silence" (a motorcycle club, ROTFL! *)
Now, the reason this intrigued me was because, unbeknownst to Google in its brainless mechanisms, actually thru the back door, it had made a fascinating connection: in fact, the generation of the Hitler Youth became "sons of silence," a silence that was deafening.
[*Even more hilarious is the totally oxymoronic name for a group that rides around on thundering crotch rockets!]
Just found this quiplet at an art blog: "Abandon the search for truth---settle for a good fantasy." Now, it's true that searching for truth is more laborious than panning for gold, more hazardous than hollowing out mines for opals. But if men will go to such lengths for mere temporal riches, how much more worthwhile the precious booty of genuine diamonds: truth is forever.
Fantasy's mere mica.
A lot of times, google is just plain DUMB. I typed in "baby sharks clinging to mother" (reminiscent of possum babies on their mom's back) and I get a whole page of THESE types of images!!! {snort}
Sparked by the contents of my previous post, I was googling skin patches, when I came across this ghastly bit of info. Temporary medical tattoo....uh HUH! And then just slip some sort of nanoparticles into the unwitting patient's skin, while you're at it.
666, here we come...
My father once claimed that "the male of the [human] species" is superfluous once he's reproduced. Frankly, I think it's even more applicable to most females of the species. Just ran across another illustration of it.
Youtube videos often involve "Dove" soap ads. Today's intrigued me because a group of women in a "study" were given a "beauty patch" for their skin, that they claimed made them feel better about their looks. Hmmmnnn, I'm thinking, what are the ingredients of this "magic patch"? Sounds like nothing but a placebo decal to me.
Googled it. Shoh nuff, at the end of the 2 week "experiment," the women are told that the contents of the patch consist of ... nothing. ROTFL!
OK, so I'm asking myself, did these broads not check out what they were getting themselves into before they agreed to this "experiment"? Weren't they even one bit concerned (or at least curious) about what drug might be traversing their skin and polluting their systems? And doesn't it just prove how moronically GULLIBLE the average (American) woman is? (It also goes a long way to explain why we've got someone like Obarfma in office---and why Clinton lasted so long).
As a literature major, I can't help thinking about the archetypal deceived woman in The Garden.
Of course, that placebo patch is relatively benign when compared to this updated torture device. Why not just use Sensa? {shrugs} I mean, yah, there's a long history of women suffering for the sake of "beauty" (spike heels being the Western variant of the Chinese practice of binding women's feet), but THAT patch is a bit extreme...or maybe not, since people put pierced stuff not only on their tongues, but even more masochistically, on their private parts.
Anyway, in my estimation, a really useful patch would be one that fixes the average female's brain.
